Mason Park — Operated by Black Scape LLC

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains, in complete and plain terms, what personal information Mason Park (operated by Black Scape LLC) collects when you visit mason-park.com or place an order, why we collect it, who we share it with — including the advertising and analytics partners we use — and the rights available to you under the law of the United States, the European Union and United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and other jurisdictions.

Last updated and effective: August 24, 2026. This policy applies to every visitor and customer of mason-park.com, across every product category we sell, including the Early Fall Collection, Loafers, Sneakers, Sandals, Sunglasses, Belts, Watches, and our full range of Men's and Women's Tops, Bottoms, Outerwear, Footwear, Accessories, and Women's Bags.

01

Scope of This Policy and Who We Are

Mason Park is the trading name under which Black Scape LLC designs, markets, sells, and fulfils the products listed on mason-park.com. Black Scape LLC (EIN 38-4157690), 3 Germay Dr Unit 4, Wilmington, Delaware 19804, United States, is the "data controller" (or "business", under U.S. state law) responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

mason-park.com is built and hosted on the Shopify e-commerce platform. Shopify provides the underlying storefront, checkout, and payment infrastructure and acts as our "data processor" (or "service provider") for that infrastructure; Black Scape LLC decides what personal information is collected and why.

This policy supplements, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service, Legal Notice, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.

02

Personal Information We Collect

We collect only the categories of personal information that are genuinely needed to run the store, fulfil your order, and, where you've agreed, market to you. Depending on how you interact with mason-park.com, this can include:

  • Identity & contact information — name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number, provided at checkout, when creating an account, or when signing up for email or SMS updates.
  • Account information — your login credentials, saved addresses, order history, and wish lists, if you create a customer account.
  • Order and transaction information — the products you purchase, order value, discount codes used, and returns or exchange history.
  • Payment information — processed directly by Shopify's PCI-DSS-compliant payment infrastructure. We never see or store your full card number (see Section 09).
  • Device and usage information — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, and browsing behaviour on our site, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 04).
  • Marketing preferences and communications — your email and SMS opt-in status, and the content of any message you send our support team.

We do not knowingly collect any special category of personal information (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, or biometric data), and mason-park.com does not sell age-restricted, regulated, or hazardous products.

03

How We Collect Your Information

  • Directly from you — when you place an order, create an account, sign up for our newsletter or SMS list, contact customer support, or leave a product review.
  • Automatically — through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies as you browse mason-park.com (see Section 04 and Section 05).
  • From service providers — Shopify (hosting, checkout, and payments), our shipping carriers, and our analytics and advertising partners, each of which shares limited technical or transaction data back with us so we can run the store and measure performance.
04

Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

Like almost every online store, mason-park.com uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, and local storage) to run the site, remember your cart, and understand how visitors use our store. The categories we use are:

Strictly necessary
Shopify checkout, cart, security/fraud prevention, load balancing
Always on — required for the site to function
Analytics
Google Analytics
Measures traffic and on-site behaviour so we can improve the store
Advertising / remarketing
Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, TikTok Pixel
Shows you relevant ads on and off mason-park.com and measures ad performance
Functional
Klaviyo/Shopify Email, SMS provider
Remembers marketing preferences and personalises email/SMS content

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent checkout from working. Where required by law (for example, under the EU/UK ePrivacy rules), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies and let you withdraw that consent at any time.

05

How We Use Your Information

  • To process, fulfil, and ship your order, and to communicate with you about it (order confirmations, shipping updates, and support).
  • To create and maintain your customer account, including saved addresses and order history.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To send marketing emails and SMS messages, where you have opted in, and to measure how effective those messages are.
  • To show you relevant advertising on platforms such as Google, Meta, and TikTok, and to measure ad performance (see Section 08).
  • To analyse site traffic and shopping behaviour so we can improve mason-park.com.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, customs, and other legal obligations.

We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.

06

Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Visitors)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract — to process your order, payment, and delivery.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure, understand aggregate site usage, and improve our products, balanced against your rights and expectations.
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, email marketing, and SMS marketing, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to meet tax, customs, and accounting requirements.
07

Advertising, Remarketing, and Google Shopping

We advertise mason-park.com and our products, including through Google Shopping/Google Ads listings, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok. To do this, we and these advertising partners use cookies and pixels described in Section 04 to:

  • Show you ads for products you viewed or added to your cart on mason-park.com, on other websites and apps (remarketing/retargeting).
  • Build lookalike or custom audiences from customer and visitor data (for example, hashed email addresses) to reach similar shoppers.
  • Measure which ads led to a visit, sign-up, or purchase (conversion tracking).

Google. We participate in Google Shopping and use Google Ads remarketing and Google Analytics. Google may use data from these tags in accordance with the Google Privacy & Terms and its own advertising policies. You can control the ads Google shows you at Google Ad Settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Meta. You can manage the ads you see from Meta in your Meta Ad Preferences settings.

TikTok. You can manage TikTok ad personalisation in your TikTok privacy controls.

You can also opt out of interest-based advertising generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance or, in the EU, the Your Online Choices platform. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the "sale" and "sharing" of your personal information for California residents (see Section 12).

08

Email and SMS Marketing

Email marketing from Mason Park is opt-in and sent through our email platform (Klaviyo/Shopify Email), and complies with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and equivalent international rules. Every marketing email identifies Mason Park as the sender and includes a working unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing never affects your ability to receive transactional order-confirmation and shipping-update emails.

If you opt in to SMS marketing at checkout or elsewhere on the site, you consent to receive automated text messages from Mason Park, in accordance with the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state and international rules. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text, and opt back in by replying START; opting out of SMS never affects order-confirmation or shipping-update messages sent for an order already placed.

09

Customer Accounts and Payment Information

mason-park.com offers customer accounts. If you create one, we store your saved addresses, order history, and wish list against your account so you don't have to re-enter them. You can review, update, or delete this information at any time by logging in, or by contacting us (see Section 17).

Payment is processed entirely within Shopify's PCI-DSS-compliant, SSL-encrypted payment environment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, JCB, UnionPay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay. Mason Park never stores your full card number on our own servers; card details are handled entirely by Shopify and its payment partners.

10

How We Share Your Information

Black Scape LLC does not sell your personal information for money. We do share limited personal information with the following categories of recipients, each acting under their own privacy obligations:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform, for hosting, checkout, payment processing, and account storage.
  • Shipping carriers — USPS, FedEx, and DHL, to deliver your order and provide tracking.
  • Analytics providers — Google Analytics, to understand site traffic and usage.
  • Advertising partners — Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok, for remarketing and ad measurement as described in Section 07. Under the CCPA/CPRA and similar U.S. state laws, sharing data with these partners for cross-context behavioural advertising is treated as a "sale" or "share" of personal information, even though no money changes hands — see Section 12 for how to opt out.
  • Email/SMS platforms — our email (Klaviyo/Shopify Email) and SMS providers, to send marketing messages you've opted into.
  • Professional advisors and legal authorities — accountants, auditors, and law enforcement or regulators, where required to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect our rights and the safety of our customers.
  • A successor business — if Black Scape LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
11

International Data Transfers

Mason Park is based in the United States and ships worldwide, so personal information collected from visitors outside the U.S. is transferred to, and processed in, the United States and other countries where our service providers (including Shopify, our analytics, and advertising partners) operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or the service provider's own certified transfer mechanism. Nothing in this section limits any statutory right you hold under the law of the country in which you reside.

12

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep personal information only for as long as it's needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Order and transaction records are kept for as long as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law (typically several years after the transaction).
  • Customer account information is kept for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return.
  • Marketing preferences and email/SMS engagement data are kept until you unsubscribe or opt out, plus a short period to record that opt-out.
  • Cookie and analytics data is retained according to each provider's own default retention window (for example, Google Analytics' standard retention settings).

When personal information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.

13

How We Protect Your Information

We rely on Shopify's SSL-encrypted, PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure to protect data in transit and at rest, and we limit access to personal information to staff and service providers who genuinely need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately (see Section 17).

14

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to DNT, so mason-park.com does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do, however, recognise the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" and "sharing" of personal information for California residents, as described in Section 12.

Privacy rights by jurisdiction

Your Privacy Rights

Because Mason Park ships worldwide, more than one privacy law can apply to you depending on where you live. None of the rights below limits any further right the law of your own jurisdiction grants you.

15

California — CCPA/CPRA

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to request deletion; the right to correct inaccurate information; and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, including for cross-context behavioural advertising (see Sections 07 and 10).

To submit a request, use our Privacy Opt-Out Request page, email support@mason-park.com, or call +1 302-509-4305. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

16

Other U.S. States

Residents of Virginia (Consumer Data Protection Act), Colorado (Colorado Privacy Act), Connecticut (Data Privacy Act), Utah (Consumer Privacy Act), and other states with comparable consumer-privacy statutes receive the equivalent rights of access, correction, deletion, and opt-out available under those laws.

Requests can be sent to support@mason-park.com.

17

United Kingdom and European Union

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing, including direct marketing.

Requests can be directed to support@mason-park.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

18

Canada, Australia, and Other International Markets

Canadian customers' personal information is handled in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and our marketing emails comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), including clear sender identification and a working unsubscribe mechanism.

Australian customers are protected by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, which exist independently of, and are not reduced by, this policy.

Customers in any other country retain whatever mandatory data-protection rights their local law provides. This policy is intended to supplement, never replace, those rights.

19

Children's Privacy

Mason Park does not knowingly market to, sell to, or collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent international rules. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact support@mason-park.com and we will delete it promptly.

20

How to Exercise Your Rights

You can exercise any of the rights described in Section 15 through 18 — access, correction, deletion, portability, or opting out of the sale/sharing of your information — in any of the following ways:

For your security, we may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests (for example, by confirming the email address on your order or account). We aim to respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and there is no fee for a standard request. You may also use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf, where permitted by law.

21

Third-Party Links

mason-park.com may link to third-party websites, including our shipping carriers, social media pages, and payment providers. This policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies before providing any personal information.

22

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business, the tools we use, or the law. The date at the top of this page always reflects the version currently in effect, and continued use of mason-park.com after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
