Why this page exists

How we build every size chart and product description

Measured, not guessed

Every garment, footwear style, and accessory listed on mason-park.com is measured flat against a physical sample before its size chart is published. Sizing figures come from the actual product — not from a generic industry template copied across unrelated styles.

Reviewed before it goes live

Sizing information, materials, fit descriptors, and product photography are checked against the physical sample before a listing is published or updated, in line with the same accuracy standards described in our Our Story page and required for Google Shopping product listings.

This guide is a supplement to — not a replacement for — the specific size chart shown on each individual product page. Because cut, fabric behaviour, and construction vary between styles (for example, a structured overshirt fits differently than a ribbed knit), always check the chart on the product you intend to buy before ordering. Where a product-specific chart differs from the general figures below, the chart on that product page controls.

Before you order

How to take your own measurements

Use a flexible cloth or vinyl tape measure, wear light clothing, and keep the tape snug but not tight. Measuring yourself — rather than comparing to clothes already in your closet — gives the most reliable result, since fabrics and cuts vary between brands.

Chest / Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, tape level under the arms.

Waist

Measure around the natural waistline, roughly one inch above the navel.

Hip

Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, roughly 8" below the waist.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam straight down to the bottom of the ankle.

Foot length

Stand on paper, mark heel to longest toe, and measure the distance in inches or centimeters.

Belts, watches & sunglasses

Belts are sized to sit two holes below your usual pant waist size; if you wear a size 34 pant, we recommend a 36" belt so the buckle falls at the center hole. Watches list case diameter and strap length in the product description — measure your wrist just below the bone for the closest fit, and note that most straps have multiple adjustment holes. Sunglasses at Mason Park are sold as one adjustable size intended to fit most adult head widths; lens width, bridge width, and temple length are listed on the product page where available.

Reference charts

General size charts by category

The tables below give a general body-measurement reference in inches (US sizing). They describe the body the garment is intended to fit, not the flat garment dimensions, which can differ by style and are always listed on the individual product page.

Dresses and fitted knitwear may run closer to the body than the figures above; individual product pages note when a style runs small, true to size, or oversized.

Loafer, sneaker, and sandal lasts vary by silhouette — a wide-fit sneaker and a slim leather loafer in the same labeled size will not sit identically. Where a style runs narrow, wide, or true to size, that note appears on the product page under "Fit notes." Applies to Loafers, Sneakers, Sandals, Men's Footwear, and Women's Footwear.

Fit, cut & construction

What "size" means for each product type

Tops & Outerwear

Cut described as slim, regular, relaxed, or oversized on each listing. Knitwear and ribbed fabrics have natural stretch and may measure smaller flat than they fit on the body; woven shirting and structured outerwear hold closer to the stated measurement.

Bottoms

Waist and inseam are listed by numeric size where available. Denim, corduroy, and twill relax slightly with wear; a fitted style at time of purchase will typically loosen marginally over the first several wears.

Footwear

Sizing follows the last of each specific style, so the same labeled size can differ slightly between a loafer, a sneaker, and a sandal. Product pages flag when a style runs narrow, wide, or true to size relative to standard US sizing.

Belts, Watches & Sunglasses

Belts are cut with multiple adjustment holes to cover a small size range. Watches list case diameter and strap length precisely. Sunglasses are one adjustable size unless a product page states otherwise.

Photography & color accuracy

Why colors and proportions can vary slightly on screen

We photograph products in consistent, calibrated lighting and avoid digital color correction that would misrepresent an item's true shade. Even so, screen technology, display brightness, and individual color calibration differ from device to device, so a color may appear marginally warmer, cooler, brighter, or darker on your screen than the physical product. Natural materials such as leather, wool, and dyed cotton also carry minor variation between production lots — this is a normal characteristic of the material, not a defect.

Model photography is included for scale and styling reference. Models' height and the size worn are noted where available so you can judge proportion, but a garment's drape will always vary somewhat with individual body shape.

If a color looks meaningfully different in person

If a delivered item's color or finish differs meaningfully from its product listing — beyond ordinary screen and lot variation — it is treated as a Return & Refund Policy matter, not simply a sizing question. Contact support@mason-park.com with a photo of the item in natural light so we can review it.

Our accuracy commitment

How we keep sizing and product data honest

Accurate, substantiated product data is a legal requirement in most of the markets we ship to, and it is also core to how shopping platforms and price-comparison services evaluate merchants. Mason Park applies the following standards to every listing:

Your rights as a customer

How consumer law applies to sizing & description accuracy

Because Mason Park ships worldwide, more than one legal framework can protect you if a product is inaccurately described or does not match its listing. Nothing on this page limits any right the law grants you; where a term in our policies conflicts with a right you hold, the law prevails.

01

United States — federal standards

Product descriptions and sizing claims must be truthful and substantiated under Section 5 of the FTC Act, which prohibits unfair or deceptive trade practices, and under the FTC's Textile and Wool Products Labeling Acts, which govern fiber-content accuracy on apparel. The FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule also governs your right to a refund if an order — including one affected by a sizing error on our part — is not shipped within the stated or a reasonable timeframe.

02

US state consumer-protection statutes

Individual states enforce their own unfair and deceptive acts and practices (UDAP) statutes — for example California's Unfair Competition Law and Consumers Legal Remedies Act, New York's General Business Law §349, and comparable statutes in other states — which apply to inaccurate product measurements or descriptions regardless of where the customer resides. California and other state residents also retain applicable privacy rights (including CCPA/CPRA) described in our Privacy Policy; those rights are separate from, and unaffected by, this sizing guide.

03

United Kingdom

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to UK customers must match their description, including any stated size or measurement, and must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a delivered item does not match the description on our site, you are entitled to the short-term right to reject, repair, replacement, or price reduction set out in that Act, in addition to anything offered under our own Return & Refund Policy.

04

European Union

The Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Consumer Sales and Guarantees Directive require that goods conform to their contract description, including size, and grant EU consumers a statutory withdrawal period for most online purchases in addition to our 30-day return window. Where the EU GDPR applies, your data rights are handled under our Privacy Policy and are unaffected by this page.

05

Canada, Australia & other markets

Canadian provincial consumer-protection and business-practices legislation prohibits false or misleading representations about the size, measurements, or performance of goods sold to Canadian consumers. Australian customers are protected by the Australian Consumer Law's statutory guarantees, including that goods match their description and any sample or demonstration model, independently of our own Return & Refund Policy. Customers in other countries retain whatever mandatory consumer-protection rights their local law provides regarding accurate product description; this guide supplements, and does not replace, those rights.

If the size is wrong

What to do if an item doesn't fit as expected

1. Re-check the chart

Compare your own measurements to the chart on the specific product page you ordered from, not just the general charts on this page.

2. Contact support

Email support@mason-park.com or call +1 3025094305 with your order number and which size you'd expect to try instead; we typically reply within 1 business day.

3. Return or exchange

Items in original, unworn condition with tags attached are eligible for return or exchange within 30 days of delivery under our Return & Refund Policy.

4. We follow up

If several customers flag the same style as running consistently small or large, we investigate and correct the listing so future buyers are not affected.

Scope & limitations

What this guide is — and isn't

This page provides general sizing guidance for apparel, footwear, and accessories sold on mason-park.com. It is not a medical, orthopedic, or podiatric assessment, and it does not account for individual variations in posture, muscle mass, or foot shape beyond standard measurement points. Charts are reference points, not guarantees — natural body shapes vary, and two people with the same chest or waist measurement may still prefer different sizes depending on how they like a garment to fit.

Measurements are provided in good faith and reviewed regularly, but minor manufacturing tolerances (typically within about ½ inch, consistent with standard apparel industry practice) are normal and are not considered defects.

Between two sizes?

If your measurements fall between two sizes on a chart, we generally recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit or down for a fitted look, and noting the garment's stated cut (slim, regular, relaxed, oversized). If you're unsure, our support team is glad to advise before you order.

Keeping this page current

Reviews, updates & accessibility

Size charts and fit notes are reviewed whenever a new style is added or an existing style is re-cut, and this page is updated to reflect material changes. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidance across mason-park.com, including readable contrast and screen-reader-friendly markup for all tables on this page.

Something look off?

If you spot a sizing figure that seems inconsistent with the product you received, or you have trouble using a table or chart with assistive technology, email support@mason-park.com with the subject line "Sizing Page Feedback" and we'll review it.
